To begin with, everyone is interested in learning how to make money online, and I have discovered that starting a blog is one of the most effective ways to do so.
The purpose of this article is to demonstrate to you how it is possible for you, too, to learn how to make money blogging by describing how I combine different strategies that I have discovered on the internet in order to generate daily income for myself.
Second, I’m not going to try to sell you the most recent version of my “Get Rich Quick” scheme because I don’t actually have one.
Each eBook you read will contain a wealth of information that will, without a doubt, assist you in figuring out the ins and outs of how to make money online and will be a great resource for you.
I am only going to tell you which ones, out of the hundreds that are available, you SHOULD read if you want to make a lot of money as everyone else does.
When I first set up each of my blogs, I follow a step-by-step guide that consists of ten different steps.
I will provide you with a list of the top ten resources that I utilize and highly recommend to anyone who is serious about making a significant amount of money online later on.
When people are just starting out with blogging, one of the most important details that they frequently overlook is the requirement that their blog includes content that other people would be interested in reading.
In this regard, many bloggers have their eyes closed, and if you visit fifty different blogs, you will notice that the vast majority of them will tell you they are aware of how to make money with blogs.
when in reality all they will tell you is where they went on vacation or how many cars they own. If you do this, you will notice that most bloggers are lying to you.
Are you prepared to find out how you can make money blogging?
Continue reading this article and get started monetizing your blog if you answered yes to the previous question.
I am not going to sit here and instruct you on how to run your blog; that is something that is entirely up to you.
However, I am going to share with you the 10 different strategies that I use to make money on the internet.
It is entirely up to you whether you put these strategies into practice or not; the decision is entirely in your hands.
Step #1 – Finding a Niche
Stop using the computer, get a pen and some paper, and find a place to sit where you can relax but also maintain your concentration (if you are just starting out this step can be a pain because we all want to know How to Make Money Online and we want to know how to make it NOW).
Think of a subject that piques your interest, jot it down (this helps because you will be more committed to trying instead of giving up in a day or two), and then check to see if it is something that other people are interested in as well.
Ask IQ helps me determine what’s trending, and VRE Toolbar tells me how many people are looking for specific topics online.
These are just a few of the methods I use to generate ideas for potential topics (this is also useful later on to get traffic).
Make a note of your top five keywords; you’ll want to use them in your blog at some point in the future.
Step #2 – Create Your Own Blog
Discover and create your own blog using the internet. Although WordPress and Movable Type are also popular Blog platforms, my personal preference is to use Blogger.
When you set up your blog, the program that you use to gather information will provide you with all the assistance you need.
Create your own content, ensure that it is unique, and ensure that it is informative.
This is one of the most important aspects to take into consideration when learning How to Make Money with Blogs.
The content of your blog should include some of the keywords that you jotted down in the first step of this process.
You should make every effort not to overuse these because it sends out negative signals to the search engines, which is absolutely not what you want to happen.
Step #3 – Go Google
Create an account with Google Adsense and place the code in the sidebar or footer of your blog.
There are many different ways in which you can personalize your advertisements, such as by including text links or image links.
My personal preference is to use only text links because they are simpler to incorporate into the design of your blog and do not divert attention away from the information being presented.
You shouldn’t expect to become a millionaire by using Google Adsense, but it is a quick and easy way to generate some extra cash on the side.
If you want to track where your visitors are coming from in terms of direct hits or from the results of search engines, then I would recommend that you use Google Analytics.
Just like before, you can get all the assistance you need to set this up from within the program itself.
You should also make sure that your URL is included in Google’s index.
Step #4 – Find Something to Sell
You can skip this step if you have no plans to sell anything and are content with the revenue that Google Adsense is bringing in.
Finding an affiliate program that you want to join is the first step you need to take if you want to maximize your income and truly learn How to Make Money with Blogs.
ClickBank and Commission Junction are a couple of affiliate programs that I would recommend getting involved with. You can sell anything, from clothing and movies to office furniture and pet supplies, as well as video games, diet advice, and audio software.
Make sure you insert the code into your blog correctly or you will not earn any money from your visitors, regardless of the program you choose to join, which will provide you with assistance in inserting the code that you will need to insert into your blog.
If you do not know how to edit HTML, the HTML tutorial found on W3Schools is an excellent place to begin learning.
Step #5 – Social Bookmarking
There is no form of marketing that is more effective than word-of-mouth communication, but social bookmarking is a close second.
You are going to want to make things simpler for other people so that they can do this.
OnlyWire and SocialMarker are two social bookmarking sites that I use and recommend to others.
These sites allow users to share their favorite bookmarks and websites with other members of their online community.
It is not necessary for you to include links to these services on your website; however, you should make it possible for visitors to your site to do so.
Step #6 – Write an Article
I would recommend that you write an article or a review about your blog, regardless of whether it is focused on a particular product, such as a particular MP3 Player that you are promoting, or whether it is simply focused on providing people with information.
If you want your article to be published, you should aim to have at least 500 words in it, as this is the minimum requirement for submission to the majority of article directories.
You can submit your article to any one of the hundreds that are currently available.
EzineArticles, Article Dashboard, Amazines.com, Isnare, and SearchWarp are some of the Top Article directories that I make use of on a personal level.
I also make use of a handy piece of software known as Article Submitter.
This program will submit your articles to over 600 article directories, which will save you a significant amount of time and allow you to concentrate on writing your blogs instead of other tasks.
Step #7 – Ping The Hell Out Of It
Pinging refers to the process of notifying blog directories of any new content added to a blog.
This should be done whenever new information is added to a blog.
There are some blog hosts that will automatically send out pings whenever you make an update, but if you want to err on the side of caution, you should also do this manually. ONLY PING WHEN YOU UPDATE.
There are a few Ping sites that I utilize, and one of them will send a ping to multiple blog directories all at once.
PingMyBlog would be my first choice, but if for some reason that site was unavailable, I would switch to Ping-o-Matic as my second option.
Keep in mind that you should only ping when you update, or else you run the risk of getting blacklisted, which is undesirable.
Step #8 – Yahoo! Answers, and Forums.
Making use of the people you intend to attract to your blog is one of the simplest and most effective ways to attract targeted visitors to your site.
I would recommend that you sign up for at least one forum that is related to the subject that you are writing about.
However, you shouldn’t just dive right in and start posting comments in the hopes that people will look at your blog; they won’t.
The trick is to include a link to your blog in your signature and to become an active member of the forum, posting topics that are relevant to the conversation and initiating debates within those topics.
If you provide someone with helpful information, there is a greater likelihood that they will click on your link. The more posts you make, the more your link will show.
Yahoo! Answers functions in a manner that is analogous to that of online discussion forums; however, the site receives thousands of unique users on a daily basis.
If you don’t already have a Yahoo! account, create one now. Once you’re logged in, search for questions that are relevant to the subject of your blog, and give thoughtful responses to those questions.
You will then be able to insert the link to your blog, and similar to the discussion forums, if you provide an answer that is helpful, you may not only have earned a point or two on Yahoo!, but you may also have earned a visitor to your blog.
Step #9 – Update Your Blog
This can be accomplished in a number of ways, one of which is by adding new content or reviews to your blog; in this case, I would recommend that you update it at least once every couple of days.
Because search engines thrive on fresh and unique content, this helps to maintain a positive relationship with those search engines.
Including RSS feeds on your blog is yet another method for keeping the content up to date and maintaining its overall freshness.
Be sure that the feeds are pertinent to your blog and that they provide the visitors with information that is useful.
People who visit a blog about World of Warcraft probably aren’t interested in reading feeds about knitting, but maybe they are?
Step #10 – More, More, More
The only way to learn How to Make Money Blogging is to keep doing steps 1 through 10, in this order.
If you sell your own product or publish a newsletter, make it simple for visitors to sign up to buy it or subscribe to it so they can receive updates and information.
This makes it easier for you to get in touch with the visitor again in the future to provide them with additional useful information or to sell them products.
If you follow the steps outlined above, learning How to Make Money Online is simple.
It is important to keep in mind that you will not become a millionaire overnight from your blog; instead, becoming wealthy will require a lot of hard work and effort on your part.
This is one of the important things to keep in mind if you do not want to become discouraged with your blog.
If you are truly serious about learning how to make money with blogs, then you need to keep at it, and sooner or later, you will have an “Aha!” moment.
As things begin to fall into place, you may find yourself thinking to yourself, “Aha, so that’s how they do it.” It’s possible that your time will come sooner than you anticipate.
